This guide walks you through how to upgrade from the free version to the Pro version using the built-in Freemius-powered licensing system.
Upgrade Steps #
1. Purchase a Pro License #
Go to the pricing page and choose the plan that fits your needs:

Once your purchase is complete, you’ll receive:
- A download link for the Pro version (ZIP file)
- Your unique license key
- Login details to manage your license/subscription via Freemius
2. Upload and Activate the Pro Version #
In your WordPress site:
- Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
- Upload the ZIP file you received via email
- Click Install Now, then Activate
Note: Do not deactivate or delete the Free version — the Pro version extends it.
3. Enter Your License Key #
After activation:
- A license popup will appear
- Paste your license key
- Click Activate License
This enables automatic updates, support, and unlocks all Pro features immediately.
Optional: Manage Your License #
You can manage your license at any time via:
users.freemius.com
From there, you can:
- View your plan and license key
- Upgrade to a higher-tier plan
- Cancel or renew your subscription
- Download plugin versions or invoices

- Make sure both the Free and Pro versions are active
- If the license popup doesn’t appear, go to:
